Tribe is being built by a small team of founders, designers and developers out of Silicon Valley that cares passionately about intentional human communities.

We created this app because we were sick of doomscrolling all the endless feeds, chock-full with ads and AI slop, maximized to get your attention and make $$ but not make you happier.

A well-run group chat is like an endless dinner party that nurtures the soul. It's real conversation and activities with real people…without performative behavior or tricks.

Over time, you build new friends and get closer to your interests, and can do so at your own terms, wherever in the world you are. That's amazing!

So we want Tribe to exist. To support this app, we refuse to place ads, sell data or serve any master except you, our tribe members. So the only way we make money is by your support.
