I work from home for a company halfway across the country. Because of my work situation, I find it difficult to meet new people, particularly those who live nearby with similar interests. Enter Tribe. I was originally invited via a the Bay Area subreddit. Now that I’m on Tribe I’ve met about a dozen people who are local to me and like to hike. I’ve done 4 hikes with the group so far.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this app, I’ve met a lot of new people, made some friends and I’ve found good group chats that are welcoming and useful. Altogether I think this is the best chat app out there!

What i love the most is small group settings and local community. So when i ask for a gardening tip or hike it feels like talking to neighbors. Events are fun too
